Never thought this would be the first thing i would post on my blog. Today I came out of my comfort zone and sung. Yes you read it right, I sang for an audience. A slightly drunk audience, but still an audience. A couple of friends asked me to come join them for a night of karaoke. So I instantly said yes. Because I love singing and since I’m not really comfortable singing in front of an audience, I like to give myself the opportunity to get more comfortable. So beforehand I practiced a song for a bit at home, still not completely through and through, but good enough not to fail too much with the lyrics. Take me to church - Hozier. I made a few mistakes but overall it was alright. And people didn’t expect it from me, even my close friends. Always nice to hear. But yeah as usual I was shaking. I couldn't control my voice well enough to make it sound like my own sound. But still, looking back at it, I loved it. The second song I sung was The man who can’t be moved, a song that's easy for me. And again positive reactions. I think I’m going again soon. Sucks that it’s on Monday though.

They pushed me to start thinking about singing again. Think about developing better skill. I'm not sure yet if I am going to get some help/coaching, but I'll keep it in mind.

I love people who want to help you be a better version of you!
